“When I think Christmas, I think family, good food, Christmas carols, lights and the list could go on and on. But when it really comes down to it, Christmas to me is about the greatest act of love — about God sending his Beloved Son to come to earth and give hope to the rest of us.”
Utah pop singer David Archuleta believes Christmas music has power to help people recall special memories of family, service and turning to the birth of Jesus Christ.
“Christmas represents happy moments for me,” he wrote via email in response to questions from the Deseret News. “I love how the spirit of Christmas becomes so alive through friends and family coming together, through the songs, and through sharing gifts and time. The music becomes alive through that.”
